Native to Colorado Springs, Henry is a military Veteran, a passionate instructor at IntelliTec College and proud business owner of Ypro Geeks.
Henry started that he found his gift in HELPING. Henry attended District 11 Schools, graduated from Wasson High School and joined the military in 1986. He graduated from Colorado Technical University with an MBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Prior to his Master’s in Business Administration, Henry earned his Bachelors in Information Technology with a focus in Project Management, Process Engineering, Network Security and computer programming in C++.
Henry’s journey started with a humble beginning. He still counts everyone who surrounded him in those early years, family, friends, the military, mentors and Pastor Justus B. Morgan as the fabric of who he is; his zeal, his passion and the shape of his values.
Henry served 20+ years as a Combat Medic in peacetime, training and served in two combat campaigns. He was decorated for honorable service in a Department of Defense Regional Supervisor capacity, with a Department of Defense Commendation Medal and in the Department of the Army his highest decoration is a Department of the Army Meritorious Service Medal. Not only did he oversee medical evacuation and treatment operations, he gained experience in senior management, operations, advised Commanders and effectively trained personnel toward combat readiness. During his tenure, Army operation requirements grew into computer technology and networks.
Henry gained a passion for maintaining systems that operate without fail and took on the task of learning the technology enough to recognize potential issues. He learned to design systems in the administrative process that compliment efficiency.
His new found passion materialized in the form of a business, Yates Productions in 2001 and later he registered YPro Geeks in 2006 and it was founded in 2005. He found joy in solving problems for clients and took pride and ownership in creating systems of efficiency for corporate clients as well. He describes computer and network technology as an opportunity to operate in HELPS. It’s a joy in helping people like you.
